Fouk’s latest EP, Truffles, contains this title track, an upbeat piece of electronic music full of percussion and precise drum programming. While only their third time releasing on Heist Records, the Dutch duo have already begun experimenting with genre fusions. Acidic basslines and big pads fill out the deep disco-house style of the track but give it a distinct flavour in comparison to the rest of the tracks on the EP. As always Fouk’s production makes the track flourish, with an advancing sonic palette and maturing songwriting style, led by a huge, catchy piano riff. -Dan Peeke
